NRA Basic Personal Protection in the Home Course (8 hours Minimum):  Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual's right to self-defense.  Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition.  Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, as well as opportunities for skills development.  Students receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection in the Home handbook and other NRA information and a course completion certificate upon successful completion of the student exam and course exercises.  Course Fee:  $120.00  ($75.00 Deposit)
NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home Course (9 hours basic and 5 hours advanced):  This course is designed for the advanced shooter and teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.   The course is divided into two levels:  the basic level (9 hours) offers the essential knowledge and skills that must be mastered in order to carry, store, and use a firearm safely and effectively for personal protection outside the home.  Upon completion of level one, students may choose to attend level two which is an additional five hours of range training and teaches advanced shooting skills.  Students expend approximately 100 rounds of ammunition during level one training and at least 115 rounds during level two training.  Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection Ourside the Home handbook and other NRA information.  Upon successful completion of the training and the student exam, students will receive a certificate of completion for each level.

USCCA Concealed Carry Course (8 hours):  This course is for anyone considering or currently carrying a firearm for self-defense and is designed for experienced shooters. The course addresses key concepts of conflict avoidance and situational awareness which are the foundation for developing your own personal protection plan. Training covers: self-defense firearms basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the physiology of violent encounters, the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath), holsters and other equipment, and shooting skills development. NAFT-LLC uses a combination of laser training devices in the classroom and live fire on the pistol range to teach basic and advanced shooting skills. Students receive USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals training manual (a $29.95 value). The range activities require an Every Day Carry (EDC) firearm, your EDC holster, and 200 rounds of ammunition for your firearm. You will also need hearing protection and eye protection as well as appropriate clothing to include a concealment garment (vest, shirt, or jacket). Almost all of our range drills will begin with your firearm in a holstered and concealed position. Students must pass a written open book exam and demonstrate safe firearms handing to receive a USCCA course completion certificate. Course Fee:  $185.00 ($75.00 Deposit)
NRA Defensive Pistol Course (8 hours): This course is design to develop the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. The training focuses on techniques and development of a defensive mind set. As a result of participating in this course, the student will be able to explain and demonstrate the following: How to apply the NRA Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed firearm, basic principles of concealment, the difference between cover and concealment, drawing from the holster, levels of mental awareness, developing the proper mindset when using a pistol for personal protection, clearing common stoppages, use of pocket pistols, and more. This class is limited to 4 people; small class size allows students to receive individual attention. Students must bring a quality pistol appropriate for concealed carry (minimum of 9mm or .38 Special), (3) magazines, holster, magazine carrier, pistol belt, concealed carry garment, eye protection, electronic hearing protection, and 200 rounds of ammunition.  Course Fee: $175.00 ($75.00 Deposit)
