NRA Ammunition Reloading Courses
NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course (8 hours): This course teaches beginning reloaders the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges. The class is conducted in a classroom. Each student is taught reloading safety; centerfire cartridge components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the metallic cartridge reloading process. Students receive the NRA Guide to Reloading Handbook and other NRA materials and a course completion certificate upon successful completion of the student exam.

NRA Basic Shotgun Shell Reloading Course (6 hours): This course teaches beginning reloaders the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload shotgun shells. The class is conducted in a classroom. Each student is taught reloading safety; shotgun shell components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the shotgun shell reloading process. Students receive the NRA Guide to Reloading Handbook and other NRA materials and a course completion certificate upon successful completion of the student exam.
